Communicable Ease

My most important goal after being the best version of myself is to ensure that I communicate well. The manner in which I link with everyone, the rest of humanity, lies in how and what I communicate. I choose this. When I am centred, I have noticed that I communicate more effectively, more mindfully, more respectively and with more tolerance.

My Communication

My communication can make people feel at ease, can reach understanding and make people feel heard, considered and important in the process.

My communication can make people feel ill at ease, can cause confusion and make people feel disempowered, unimportant and irrelevant in the process.

I communicate with those I have contact with, choose to have contact with and those who have chosen to have contact with me.

We know that we communicate all the time with every part of our being. My words, my facial expressions, my tone, my body language and my gestures.

The start of 2020 has shown me how quickly something can spread. In this instance it has been something undesirable. From one city in China, from one person to another until it had spread all over the world. Wow, so easy to reach across the entire globe through person to person communication / contact. Pity it is a virus that is going round and not something more desirable, more wholesome, more unifying.

Choose to spread kindness

The choice is ours as to what is communicated from now on. There may be viruses that spread again but we can choose to ensure that viruses are not the only thing that we spread all over the world.

Loving kindness can be spread from China to South Africa just as easily if we just apply some ancient wisdom.

Firstly, this poem – I Wanted To Change The World:
When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.
I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.
When I found I couldn’t change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn’t change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.
Now, as an old man, I realise the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realise that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family.
My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.

Secondly, this proverb – Charity begins at home:
You should take care of your family and other people who live close to you before helping people who are living further away or in another country.

Communicable Disease (Merriam-Webster)
An infectious disease transmissible (as from person to person) by direct contact with an affected individual or the individual’s discharges or by indirect means (as by a vector) — compare contagious disease.

Communicable Ease (Louis Gerke)
An infectious wellness transmissible (as from person to person) by direct contact with a loving individual or the individual’s positive energy that exudes from them – compare The Ripple Effect.

From me to Caroline, from us to our neighbour, from him to ……….., to China.

Be loving, act lovingly and transmit love.

Thirdly this reminder – Love is:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Communicable ease is available to us should we so choose.

Love in a business sense includes:

Teamwork.
Caring for customers.
Tolerance for diversity.
Treating yourself and others with respect.
Reaching understanding.
Uniting behind a common goal.
Honesty.
Taking responsibility.
Setting your team members up for success.
Communicating clearly.
Asking for help.
Acting as good social and corporate citizens.
Operating with integrity.
Practicing win /win.
Adding value.

How does this impact you and Ripple?

We believe that our success has been achieved through partnering. Partnering by understanding you and your business and then becoming a part of your strategy and as much as possible a part of your team.

We have maintained our independence at all times and have constantly promoted the ideals and best practices associated with success.
