My Thalgo Indoceane journey point of departure was the Camelot Spa – Ville d’Este, Saxonwold, Johannesburg. Set in an historic, exquisite Italianate building where fountains, columns and Romanesque frescoes breathe romance. Built in the early 1920’s and known as the house “where time stands still”, complete with cherubic fountains, frescoes, columns topped with eagles and a curved entrance façade facing a reflection pool, all of which has been lovingly restored. A complete secret space in the city.
Indocéane is an intoxicating spa ritual, taking you on a journey of ultimate relaxation across the continents. This journey commences with a Mediterranean-influenced body exfoliation – A delicious combination of Sea Salt, Cassonade Sugar and plant Essential Oils, this scrub has a unique bi-phase texture to help eliminate rough patches, smooth the skin and leave it feeling beautifully soft. Delicately fragranced with notes of Mediterranean Essential Oils, your skin is left smooth, toned, and radiant. Followed by a wonderful soak in a soothing Egyptian Precious Milk bath. This is followed by an Ayurvedic-inspired massage using warmed oils and an ancient Indian technique – the movements gently lull the body into a state of deep relaxation. The final step is a Sublime body wrap with elements, which harness the serenity and relaxing powers of the Orient. Completed with Silky Smooth Cream, full of rare, precious and nourishing active ingredients with elegant notes of Iris and Jasmine, softens and smoothes the skin.
