What can you expect after a Retinol peel?
Depending on the length of time the peel remained on the skin, the skin may feel tight from day 2-3 post procedure.
A slight sensitivity may be experienced from day 2 post treatment. The skin may physically peel from day 3 for 3-6 days post treatment, depending on the skin type and depth of peel. During this time, it is important to avoid any sun exposure without sun protection.
Days following peel procedure
The following regime should be followed after the peel procedure, no other products should be used:
Day 1-5:
1. Cleanse face with 1-2 pumps Facial Cleanser morning and night. Do a double cleanse at night if any make-up was worn.
2. Apply a pea sized amount of the Dermal Reconstitution Mask 10ml morning and night.
3. Apply 2-3 pumps Solar Spritz SPF 30 during the day and avoid sun exposure.
Day 6+:
1. Cleanse face with 1-2 pumps Facial Cleanser morning and night. Do a double cleanse at night if any make-up was worn.
2. Apply 1-2 pumps Moisture Control Light morning and night.
3. Apply 2-3 pumps Solar Spritz SPF 30 during the day and avoid sun exposure.
