25 & 26 June 2017
The Maslow Hotel, Sandton, Johannesburg
A must attend event for all spa managers, salon or spa owners, and wellness professionals.
The Les Nouvelles Esthetiques Spa Conference focuses on building capacity, raising benchmarks and adding value to the spa industry, in addition to the infinite networking opportunity.
This results in a speaker program that is focused in helping delegates to better understand their business; master industries best practices and directly apply practical lessons in their business.
The Theme for 2017: #LOVE Your Spa – Revive the Passion
Passion, freedom and impact are not isolated — they work together and are achieved together. Without a passion for your business, you can’t have the freedom you desire or the strength to make an impact. Without freedom, you’ll never make an impact and your passion is wasted. If you are not making an impact you’re not experiencing the freedom entrepreneurship allows, nor are you allowing your passion to be fulfilled.

Passion is not just the way to happiness – it’s also the fuel that ignites success. 12.30 – 13.00 Looking at the Skin through a new Lens – Trevor Steyn (Esse Cosmetics)
The advent of gene sequencing technology has allowed us to see skin through a new lens. It is now clear that optimal skin condition depends heavily on the microbes living on and in it. Monday, 26 June 2017
8.30 – 9.00 Registration
9.00 – 9.15 Welcome – Dr Nadine de Freitas (Managing Editor – Les Nouvelles Esthetiques)
9.15 – 9.45 The New Spa Normal: Customer Experience – more than just Customer Service – Chipo Matambo (Director: Essence Women’s Centre)
A lot of energy and time is spent in the spa industry designing the spa services menu to meet customers’ needs. However, greater value is actually unlocked when the customer experience or journey with the spa is analyzed. Analyzing your customer’s experience, delivers more value to your customers than focusing on customer service alone. What do customers really want when interacting with your business? If customer experience is defined as the sum of all interactions and experiences the customer has with the business, then in the spa business the therapist becomes a major player in influencing this relationship and yielding maximum value for the spa.
9.45 – 11.00 Commissions – is this the best salary option??– Jacques de Villiers (Speaker and Author, Jacques de Villiers Group/Speakers Inc)
Clearly, the thought of a big commission at the end every month is not motivating therapists to close more deals. If this were the case, 100% of your team would be hitting target, wouldn’t it?
